Certified Music Therapist

Wellington Music Therapy Services is recruiting team members for THREE positions in the Guelph/Toronto/ Hamilton regions. We are looking to add like minded, creative and best fit subcontracting music therapists to our team of 11. Our team is dedication to anti-opressive practice, and meets monthly for Continuing Education opportunities, peer supervision and socials. We are a diverse team, with a large scope of practice, and would be excited to add new members to our community! We welcome recent graduates/interns to our MTA positions.

Must have personal liabilities insurance and a recent vulnerable sector police check.

1. Immediate need for a good fit music therapist to provide group services to two school DD classrooms in inner city Toronto. Groups are 60mins long, with simple documentation requirements. Contract runs to end of June with potential for renewal in Fall 2023 and the addition of more classrooms. This is an exciting position with LOTS of room for growth and development in the school context.

2. Immediate need for a MTA RP or RP(Qualifying) to support clients in-person in a psychotherapeutic context at our Clinic in Guelph ON. There is a waitlist of clients, with great room for growth.

3.  Actively recruiting a music therapist for Long Term Care positions in the Hamilton region.
