Creative Minds Music Therapy has been serving the Durham Region since 2013, in various populations and facilities. We are very excited to expand our team!
Details
– Part-time contract, choice of various opportunities in the community and in our clinic spaces – Must be an independent practicing music therapist (own instruments/vehicle/liability insurance) – Hourly rate negotiated, based on experience, education, and credentials
– Scheduling to be negotiated based on therapist/facility/client availability
– Possible populations: mostly children and youth (0-18yrs), some adult opportunities as well. Requirements
– Bachelor or Masters Music Therapy Degree
– MTA/ MT-BC, or MTA/ MT-BC pending
– CAMT Member in Good Standing
– RP or Q-RP preferred but not required
– Proficiency in guitar/piano and voice
– Expectation of adherence to the ethical standards outlined by the CAMT code of ethics, professional practice standards, and ongoing learning.
– Looking for therapists of high confidence, enthusiasm, and both team players and strongly independent.
– The sub-contractor will facilitate sessions, have ongoing scheduling communications with clients and maintain full contract commitments.
