Job description:

At Mind 2 Heart Connections, we’re more than a counselling practice — we’re a heart-led community that celebrates neurodiversity and creates safe, supportive spaces for children, youth, and families. Our newly expanded clinic includes sensory-rich therapy rooms, a gross motor gym, and a dedicated art therapy studio designed to help clients grow and thrive.

We’re seeking a Child Therapist (Art, play based, or Music Therapist welcome!) to join our team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, creative clinician who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide individual and/or group therapy for children and youth using play, art, or music modalities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that highlight each child’s strengths and needs.
  • Collaborate with families and our interdisciplinary team to support holistic care.
  • Maintain clear documentation in Jane and participate in team meetings/consultations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s in Counselling, Social Work, Creative Arts Therapy, or related field.
  • Registration (or eligibility) with CRPO, OCSWSSW, CCPA, or a relevant creative arts therapy body.
  • Training and experience in art therapy, music therapy, or child-focused psychotherapy.
  • Experience with children/youth who are neurodivergent, managing anxiety, trauma, or emotional regulation challenges.
  • A neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, inclusive approach.

Why Mind 2 Heart?

  • Newly expanded clinic with dedicated creative therapy spaces.
  • Collaborative, innovative team environment.
  • Flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
  • A culture that values authenticity, teamwork, and heart-led care.
