Job description:

I will be leaving my music therapy private practice (established 1990) sometime in the next 2-6 months. My house is up for sale; once it sells I am moving out of province. I am looking for individuals who would be interested and able to take on my clients. I don’t have a FT practice to hand over as some of my clients are going to continue to work with me on-line.

There are 2 LTC facilities, one for 5 hours spread out over 3 days each week, and the other for 7 hours spread out over 7 hours each week. They are seeking a recommendation from me; a position is not guaranteed, but a recommendation would be beneficial to anyone interested.

There are also a number of individuals, all who would definitely like services or would like to meet with someone who I recommend. One is a lady with PTSD and Downs Syndrome. 5 individuals, ranging in age from 5 to 21, are autistic. One child has a severe brain injury; a person wanting to work with her must have their RP credential. There are 3 individuals located 30 minutes east of London. And there are two group homes in London who have not decided what they would like to do.

Please note: The form forced me to write in a number but the number is not accurate. I anticipate that 20 client session hours will be the maximum hours available. As well, I am willing to divide the clientele according to specialty. If you are only interested in working at the facilities, or only with those who are autistic, etc., please let me know.
