Shine Music and Therapy Services

We are currently seeking two music therapy/ music psychotherapy contractors to join our amazing and compassionate team. Positions will be community-based, in-clinic, and/or online. See below for details. Ideally, candidates will have plentiful experience working with children and individuals on the Autism Spectrum, and be able to address a variety of other (mental) health concerns.

Current Positions Available:

• We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of two to three 5-hour shifts/ week per week (Thursday through Saturday). Evening availability is required. Saturday availability is preferred, in order to meet the needs of our clients.
• We are hiring for a 13-15 hour/ week community partnership in Montessori care (morning/ daytime hours in Mississauga/ Oakville). Vehicle required.

In October of 2022, we opened up a beautiful new location in Mississauga. With four spacious offices, we are able to offer quality care in an environment our clients (and therapists) can find comfort in. Occasionally, we provide services at the sites of our amazing community partners!

Qualifications

• Applicants must be Certified Music Therapists*
• Ideally, applicants will also have Masters degree and be registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
